The Story

Paragon Project*

So, what’s Paragon all about?

At its core, it’s the answer to a question we've been asking for years: Why does there have to be a line between a competition-grade performance machine and a legit piece of art?

We don’t think there should be.

There are three of us behind this. We’re not exactly new to the scene. One of us already built a successful toy company from scratch, learning the ins and outs of the business and what makes a community tick. Another was a sponsored pro who spent time engineering yoyos on the side with companies like Crucial, geeking out on designs and performance. And our third is the incredible graphic designer who translates all our crazy ideas into a visual language that hits right.

The best part? We've been friends forever, so there's no ego here. We can skip the formalities and get straight to the point: making cool stuff.

Our whole philosophy is a mashup of the lab and the art studio.

On one side, it’s all about the engineering. We're talking pure, unapologetic performance. We delve into aspects such as materials, weight distribution, and the balance between spin and feel.

But on the other side, it's about the art. A yoyo is personal. The excitement of unboxing a new throw, to the way it looks and feels, matters. For us, every project is a canvas. The shape, the finish, the artwork—it all tells a story. We want to create something you’re just as stoked to look at on your shelf as you are to throw.

We started Paragon to build toys that live in that sweet spot—precision tools that are also legit works of art. We’re here to make dope things that represent us. We hope they can represent you, too.
